Antigen: Dog IgE. Monoclonal Designation: CDE1-6A1. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG1 kappa. Specific reactivity: Specific for Dog IgE; does not react with dog IgM; IgA, or IgG. Comment: There may be two dog IgE subclasses, if so this MAb is likely specific for only one IgE subclass. Further, if the dog IgE subclasses are anti-allergy and anti-parasite related, respectively, then this MAb is probably an anti-allergy IgE MAb. Properties: Western blot: with affinity purified dog IgE in reducing gels this MAb gives one major band at about 62-65 kD. ELISA: This MAb is effective as in both capture and probe ELISA functions. Skin sensitivity: Will rapidly induce large immediate hypersensitivity wheals if injected into dogs i.d. in ug. or ng. quantities. Preparation and supply: SpA purified from tissue culture supernatant and supplied in PBS pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Biotin conjugated MAb also usually available. Pricing: $(US)425.00 per mg SpA purified; $(US)495.00 per mg SpA purified and biotin conjugated. Minimum order 1.0 mg. References: None to date.
