Antigen: Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) Nucleprotein (inclusions). Monoclonal Designation: DV2-12. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2B kappa Specific reactivity: Specific for CDV*; does not react with CAV2; CCV; CPI, or CPV. Properties: Western blot: using ultracentrifuge precipitated CDV in reducing gels this MAb gives major bands at: 76; 68; 54, and 32 kD. ELISA: Capture MAb with polyclonal probe, and good probe with polyclonal anti-CDV capture. CDV neutralization: Not known. Immunofluoresence: Excellent IFA reagent, starting with staining is cytoplasmic
only (no nuclear Immunohistochemistry: Effective in paraffin embedded tissue to detect CDV. Preparation and supply: SpA purified from tissue culture supernatant
and supplied in PBS pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Biotin
