Monoclonal Designation: CCV3-70.

Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2A kappa.

Specific reactivity and cross-reactivity: Positive against CCV; TGEV, and FIPV. Negative against Canine Coronavirus; Canine Distemper Virus; Canine Parvovirus; Canine Parinfluenza Virus.

Properties:

Western blot: gives strong specific band at 56 and 46 kD in reducing gels with CCV as antigen. Apparently does not Western blot against FIPV. Western blot against TGEV not known.

ELISA: Excellent ELISA capture or probe.

Virus neutralization: not known.

Affinity Chromatography: not known.

Immunofluoresence: Positive against CCV and FIPV; not known against TGEV.

Immunohistochemistry: Effective in paraffin embedded tissue to detect CCV; TGEV, and FIPV.

FACS Analysis: not known.

Preparation and supply: SpA purified from tissue culture supernatant and supplied in PBS pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Biotin conjugated MAb also usually available.
