Monoclonal Designation: CAG5-3D1.
Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2A kappa.
Specific reactivity: Cat MHC Class II, significant signal upregulation with FIV infection. Reacts with 16 of 16 individual cat lymphocyte membrane preparations.
Western blot: using reducing gels this MAb gives band a major band at 36 kD against feline lymphocyte membranes, but gives minimum 32 kD band suggesting MHC Class II alpha chain specificity.
ELISA: Excellent probe.
