Antigen: Cat MHC Class II, probably alpha chain specific). Monoclonal Designation: CAG5-3D1. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2A kappa. Specific reactivity: Cat MHC Class II, significant signal upregulation with FIV infection. Reacts with 16 of 16 individual cat lymphocyte membrane preparations. Properties: Western blot: using reducing gels this MAb gives band a major band at 36 kD against feline lymphocyte membranes, but gives minimum 32 kD band suggesting MHC Class II alpha chain specificity. ELISA: Excellent probe. Affinity Chromatography: Not known. Immunofluoresence: Not known. Immunohistocytochemistry: Not known. Cytochemistry: MHC Class II like activity. FACS Analysis: MHC Class II like activity. Preparation and supply: SpA purified from tissue culture supernatant and supplied in PBS pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Biotin conjugated MAb also usually available. Pricing: $(US)425.00 per mg SpA purified; $(US)495.00 per mg SpA purified and biotin conjugated. Minimum order 1.0 mg.
