Antigen: Feline/Canine/Porcine Coronavirus. Monoclonal Designation: FIPV3-70. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2A kappa. Specific reactivity: Positive against FIPV; CCV; TGEV, and Ferret Coronavirus. Negative against Canine Adenomavirus type 2; Canine Distemper Virus; Canine Parvovirus; Canine Parinfluenza Virus. Specific reactivity and cross-reactivity:Positive against CCV, TGEV, FPIV, and Ferret Coronavirus. Negative against: Feline Leukemia Virus; Feline Immunodeficiency Virus; Feline Calicivirus; Feline Herpies Virus; Canine Adenovirus (type 2); Canine Distemper Virus; Canine Parvovirus; Canine Parinfluenza Virus.
Properties: Western blot: gives strong specific band at 56 and 46 kD in reducing gels with CCV as antigen. Apparently does not Western blot against FIPV. Western blot against TGEV not known. ELISA: Excellent ELISA capture or probe. Virus neutralization: not known. Affinity Chromatography: not known. Immunofluoresence: Positive against CCV and FIPV (type 1 and type 2); not known against TGEV. Versus FIP shows intense cytoplasmic staining; zero nuclear staining, and minimal membrane activity. Immunohistochemistry: Effective in paraffin embedded tissue to detect CCV; TGEV, and FIPV. FACS Analysis: not known. Preparation and supply: SpA purified from tissue culture supernatant and supplied in PBS pH 7.2 with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. Biotin conjugated MAb also usually available. Pricing: $(US)425.00 per mg SpA purified; $(US)495.00 per mg SpA purified and biotin conjugated. Minimum order 1.0 mg. FIPV3-70 References: 1.
