Antigen: Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) gp105 env. Monoclonal Designation: CE4-13B1. Ig Isotype/subclass plus light chain: IgG2A kappa. Specific antigen reactivity: FIV gp 105 env. MAb is directed to a gp105 epitope, cross-reactive with Petaluma; 34TF10; Ppr and and FIV isolate from Europe. Negative against Feline Leukemia Virus; Feline Herpes Virus type 1; Feline Coronavirus and Feline Calicivirus. Properties: Western blot: in reducing gels, and using ultracentrifuge precipitated FIV, this MAb gives bands a band at gp105, and another at about 25 kD. ELISA: Excellent probe with MAbs CE4-8A1B or CE4-9 to capture FIV env. FIV neutralization: Not known. Affinity Chromatography: Good to affinity purify FIV env from culture supernatant. Immunofluoresence: Positive? Immunohistocytochemistry: Not known. FACS Analysis: Positive.
